Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Unrush (“Unrush,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Unrush mobile application and related backend services.
Unrush is provided by Ilia Kostin, Cyprus. You can contact us at help.nexorify@gmail.com.
This email is not an emergency channel. If you are in immediate danger, may harm yourself or someone else, or need urgent medical or mental health help, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.
1. Important safety notice
Unrush is a self-help and wellbeing app. It provides short guided exercises, grounding steps, breathing-related prompts, body-based steps, subjective state ratings, optional voice input, and optional safety support tools.
Unrush is not a medical device, medical service, therapy service, psychotherapy service, diagnostic tool, treatment service, crisis hotline, crisis response service, or emergency service.
Unrush does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent anxiety disorders, panic attacks, depression, PTSD, dissociation, or any other medical or mental health condition.
Unrush does not replace a doctor, psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, therapist, medical diagnosis, professional care, therapy, or emergency help.
If you feel unsafe, believe you may harm yourself or someone else, experience a medical emergency, or need urgent help, do not rely on Unrush. Contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.
2. Who may use Unrush
Unrush is intended for users who can lawfully create an account and use the App under applicable laws and platform rules.
3. Summary of what we collect
Depending on how you use Unrush, we may collect or process:
- account and authentication information;
- email address;
- Firebase user ID;
- sign-in provider information;
- subscription entitlement status;
- free-session usage count;
- selected current state or need;
- subjective 0–100 ratings before and after sessions;
- completed session history;
- session result data, including before/after values and session duration;
- “helped” counters for scenarios that previously led to a positive result;
- typed answers in grounding or support steps;
- recognized text from voice input, if you use voice input;
- AI-assisted classification input, if you choose to describe your state for route selection;
- support contact information, if you add close contacts;
- custom support message text, if you edit it;
- app language and sound settings;
- analytics events;
- crash reports and technical diagnostics;
- support emails and information you choose to send us.
Some of this information may relate to your stress, anxiety, emotions, subjective wellbeing, or safety support preferences. Unrush treats this information carefully, but you should not enter information that you do not want processed by the App or its service providers.
4. Account and authentication information
To use Unrush, you need an account.
You may sign up or sign in using:
- email and password;
- Google Sign-In;
- Sign in with Apple.
Authentication is provided through Firebase Authentication.
We may process:
- your email address;
- Firebase UID;
- Firebase ID token;
- authentication provider;
- account creation date;
- locale;
- market;
- subscription status;
- number of free sessions used.
If you use Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, those providers may process your information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Password reset emails are handled through Firebase Authentication.
5. Session and wellbeing-related information
Unrush asks you to select what you need and rate your current state on a subjective 0–100 scale.
This rating is not a medical test, clinical score, diagnosis, or professional assessment. It is only a quick self-rating of how intense your current state feels to you.
When you complete a session, we may store:
- session ID;
- user ID;
- selected need, such as panic, rising anxiety, collect myself, or reconnect;
- pre-session rating;
- post-session rating;
- rating change;
- flow ID;
- protocol ID;
- completion time;
- session duration;
- whether the session used a free-session allowance.
We use this information to show your recent results, compare before/after values, and remember which routes previously helped you.
6. Text input, voice input, and speech recognition
Some grounding or support steps may allow you to type answers or use voice input.
You may be asked to name or describe:
- things you see;
- body sensations;
- sounds;
- smells;
- taste;
- properties of an object;
- your current state for route selection.
Voice input is optional. You can use the App without voice input.
If you use voice input:
- the App may request microphone access;
- the App may request speech recognition access;
- your device or operating system may process audio or speech through Apple, Google, or another platform speech recognition provider;
- Unrush receives the recognized text;
- speech recognition may not happen fully on your device.
Unrush may first try to process recognized text locally. If local processing is not enough, Unrush may send the recognized text and limited technical context to our backend for processing.
This may include:
- raw transcript;
- session ID;
- step type;
- expected answer type;
- available answer slots;
- allowed chip sets;
- input source;
- device locale.
To reduce unnecessary processing, backend fallback is limited to short inputs. Inputs that are too long or noisy may be rejected, and the App may ask you to simplify or repeat.
7. AI-assisted features and DeepSeek
Unrush uses DeepSeek for certain AI-assisted features only after you give explicit in-app consent to AI-assisted processing.
AI may be used to help parse short voice/text answers or help classify a user-described state into a support route, such as:
- panic or body peak;
- racing thoughts;
- unreality, disconnection, or loss of grounding.
AI-assisted routing is not a medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment recommendation, crisis assessment, or clinical decision. It only helps the App choose a self-help route.
When you use AI-assisted features, the relevant text and limited technical context may be sent to DeepSeek for processing. This may include:
- typed answers;
- recognized speech text;
- short self-described feeling text;
- current step type;
- expected answer type;
- language;
- session ID.
Unrush does not send the following to DeepSeek:
- audio recordings;
- email address;
- payment information;
- support contacts;
- support contact messages;
- full account data.
DeepSeek processes this information only to provide the AI-assisted features requested in Unrush. This processing is subject to privacy and security protections consistent with this Privacy Policy.
We do not intentionally use your AI inputs to train our own separate AI models.
Do not include names, addresses, phone numbers, financial information, medical records, diagnoses, medication details, therapy notes, trauma details, or other sensitive personal information in AI-assisted text or voice inputs.
You can avoid AI-assisted processing by not giving consent. Without this consent, Unrush cannot provide the current guided app experience that depends on AI-assisted route selection or AI-assisted parsing.
8. Safe Zone and support contacts
Unrush includes a Safe Zone for situations where you may want outside support.
You may add up to 3 support contacts. For each selected contact, the App may store:
- contact ID;
- display name;
- phone number;
- phone label.
Contacts are selected through the system contact picker. The App is designed to receive only the contact you choose, not upload your full address book.
If you add support contacts, the App may open a system SMS/iMessage composer with selected recipients and a prepared message.
The default English message is:
“I need support right now. Please call or message me.
I am sending this message from Unrush.”
You can edit the message in settings.
Unrush does not automatically send messages to your contacts. You decide whether to send or cancel the message in the system message composer.
9. Emergency number feature
Unrush may show an emergency number based on the country or region code from your device locale.
Unrush does not use GPS, precise location, background location, maps, or live location sharing for this feature.
If the country or region cannot be determined or the configuration is unavailable, the App may show 112 as a fallback number.
Emergency numbers may be incomplete, outdated, unavailable, or unsuitable for your actual location. You are responsible for contacting the correct local emergency service if you need urgent help.
If you tap an emergency number, Unrush opens the system phone dialer. The App does not place the call automatically. The actual call depends on your device, carrier, network, and number availability.
10. Subscription and purchase information
Unrush uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, paywalls, entitlements, and purchase restoration.
RevenueCat may process:
- app user identity linked to Firebase UID;
- subscription entitlement status;
- purchase status;
- restore status;
- subscription lifecycle events;
- technical purchase identifiers;
- receipt validation information.
For iOS, payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
If Unrush becomes available on Android with paid subscriptions, payments may be handled by Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment card details from Google Play.
11. Analytics
Unrush uses Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App and to improve the product.
Analytics events may include:
- authentication screen views and sign-in events;
- home screen views;
- selected needs;
- session started, completed, abandoned, or reassessed;
- step viewed, completed, skipped, or repeated;
- helper shown or selected;
- voice input used;
- safety plan opened;
- emergency help clicked;
- contact close ones clicked;
- paywall viewed;
- purchase started, completed, or failed;
- restore purchases started or completed;
- settings actions;
- export or deletion request events;
- AI hint requested, shown, accepted, or overridden.
Each analytics event may include:
- client timestamp;
- platform;
- app version.
Our analytics layer is designed not to send sensitive parameter names such as email, phone, phone number, support contact name, contact name, raw input, raw transcript, transcript, user input, or input text.
This analytics filtering does not mean that text or transcripts are never processed by backend endpoints. Analytics and backend processing are separate.
We do not use Firebase Analytics for third-party advertising.
12. Crash reports and technical diagnostics
Unrush uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect crashes and technical errors.
Crash reports may include:
- crash logs;
- stack traces;
- device model;
- operating system;
- app version;
- technical diagnostic information collected by the Crashlytics SDK.
The App and backend may also generate technical logs for:
- backend request failures;
- Firebase initialization errors;
- RevenueCat sync errors;
- voice parsing fallback summaries;
- Safe Zone API errors;
- settings export or deletion errors.
We use crash reports and logs to debug, maintain, secure, and improve the App.
13. Support communications
If you contact us at help.nexorify@gmail.com, we may process:
- your email address;
- message content;
- attachments or screenshots you choose to send;
- technical information needed to respond.
We use this information to answer your request, investigate issues, and improve support.
We aim to respond to support requests within 5 business days, but we do not guarantee a response within that period.
Support email is not monitored 24/7 and is not an emergency channel.
Support emails are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain support records, protect security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent misuse.
14. Local data on your device
Unrush may store certain information locally on your device, including:
- selected app language;
- sound guidance setting;
- Firebase authentication session/token state;
- RevenueCat SDK cache;
- system permission states;
- possible Firebase/Firestore SDK cache.
You can manage microphone and speech recognition permissions through your device settings.
Deleting the App from your device may remove local App data, but it does not cancel your subscription and does not necessarily delete data stored in our backend or by third-party providers.
15. Information Unrush does not collect or use in the current App
Unrush is not designed to collect or use:
- GPS or precise location;
- background location;
- maps links;
- live location sharing;
- push notifications;
- Firebase Messaging;
- local notifications;
- Apple Health data;

- your consent, for microphone access, speech recognition, optional support contacts, optional AI-assisted text/voice input, and other consent-based features;
- legitimate interests, such as security, fraud prevention, analytics, debugging, and product improvement;
